This little slice of heaven in the heart of the city is perfect for chilling out, picnicking, and enjoying live performances. There’s even an interactive water feature for kids and kids-at-heart.

Downtown After Five, 5 pm to 9:30 pm, August 18 and September 15, 2023. This one’s for the music lovers! North Lexington Avenue in downtown turns into a giant block party with a giant stage and local and regional musicians that will have you dancing in the streets. Adjacent parking lots and sidewalks become makeshift markets with local beer vendors and food trucks ready to take your order on the sidelines.The Pack Square Artisan Market. Every Friday until October 27, you’ll find a delightful array of independent artists selling handmade wares in a juried market of local goodness directly across the street at Pack Place. This rain or shine market is FREE to attend and welcomes pets, friends and families of all ages.
